Affinity Photo is an amazing application with tons of features, some of them perhaps not so obvious how you can use them to create truly amazing effects such as noise textures / grainy designs / paint like effects in seconds.

The Perlin Noise filter is a super powerful way of creating amazing designs and you can use the filter combined with layers and macros. The macro is created and combined layers as well as the perlin noise effect and using blending modes and different octave etc settings to create a huge number of combinations. The macro can be applied over and over to create 1000s of unique designs which can then be saved to the Affinity Photo assets or they can be exported for use in other applications such as using the file export command. You can create numerous macro sets which can then be stored in the library panel for future use and you can use them over and over to build up totally unique and random grain / painted like noise effects and of course, you can also combine with other filters as well as adjustment layers to create truly awesome designs.
